New Year’s Eve goes bang at Gloucester Park!
Premium catering packages available, there’ll be a range of food stalls and pop-up bars, racing on the track and Gloucester Park’s famous Fireworks spectacular show to welcome in 2021 at midnight.

    New Year’s Eve In Rockingham is something that will surely excite you every year, it is one gala celebration bidding adieu to the old year and welcoming the new. Get ready with your shiny glitzy dresses and get going to some of the best new year parties in Rockingham. New Year Eve Rockingham attracted many people every year from Rockingham and other Perth Suburbs. The big Rockingham NYE celebration, family event Fireworks was at 9 pm and midnight.     City Of Rockingham New Year’s Eve will be a bit different in Rockingham this year. We won’t be hosting our annual celebration and fireworks on the foreshore due to COVID-19 restrictions.
    It was not possible for us to hold the event due to the State Government’s deferral of Phase 5 of the WA COVID-19 Roadmap.

    City of Rockingham Mayor Barry Sammels said the City was very disappointed it was unable to host its New Year’s Celebration for 2020/2021, but it had to base its plans on current health advice.

    While it is unfortunate we won’t be able to ring in the New Year with a community gathering at the Rockingham Beach Foreshore, we are still committed to hosting a range of other events over the summer in line with COVID-19 safety requirements.

    Crown Perth New Year’s Eve Fireworks Update

    The health and safety of the WA community remain Crown Perth’s priority.

    After consultation with the WA government and Chief Health Officer, it has been decided that this year’s New Year’s Eve fireworks display, that attracts thousands of viewers to public areas, will not be taking place.

    Whilst this is disappointing news, we look forward to being able to celebrate NYE in a COVID safe way this year.

    New Year Eve Rottnest Island Happy New Year 2021 Perth Celebration with Fireworks

    There’s no better place to spend the last day of the year than Rottnest Island.

    Spend a relaxing day soaking up the sun and exploring the pristine beauty of the Island, followed by an afternoon of fun entertainment that the whole family will love.

    With celebrations spaced out throughout the Settlement precinct, you can safely ring in the New Year while keeping the whole family entertained.

    From 5 pm kids can show off their creative skills and build the Island’s best sandcastle or enjoy some beach soccer and giant games. Little and not-so-little kids can have a dance party in the Silent Disco, or jump into the Photo Booth for a celebratory selfie.

    Then at 9 pm, look skywards towards Thomson Bay for a spectacular fireworks display to send off 2020 and welcome in 2021.

    With late evening ferry departures back to Fremantle and Hillarys, you’ll be able to enjoy all the action, all day before heading home.

    This year, we’ve made some changes to ensure the health and safety of all attendees at this event and have developed an in-depth COVID Event Plan in consultation with the WA Department of Health.

    If you have celebrated with us before, please note that registration is required for this year’s celebration.
