Christmas Pageant Bunbury Santa street parade this Sunday

Just one more sleeps until the City of Bunbury’s Christmas Pageant and Christmas in the City RAC Street Parade Western Australia. All the fun kicks off at 5.30 pm on Sunday 6 December along Victoria Street.
This year bit different since every previous year Christmas Pageant was finishing with Christmas Carol concert to prevent big crowds the Christmas Carol Concert will be 14 days later.

The colourful street parade will be winding its way through the streets of the Bunbury CBD on Sunday 6 December from 5-6 pm. After the parade takes some time out to enjoy a bite to eat at one of the local cafes and restaurants.

There will be prime viewing will be available all along the parade route.

Maps are available from all City of Bunbury facilities Bunbury Wildlife Park Bunbury Regional Art Gallery Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre City of Bunbury Public Libraries South West Sports Centre, Bunbury Visitor Centre and the administration building at 4 Stephen Street.

While you are in town why not support local and visit one of the local cafes or restaurants for a bite to eat either before or after the parade.

Please practice social distancing whenever possible and if you are unwell please stay home.

We are excited to invite the local groups, clubs, organisations to show off their festively decorated floats in just two weeks! Please see below map for the route and practice physical distancing wherever possible when you are choosing the perfect place to watch the floats pass by.

Due to the RAC Street Parade being on a different weekend than The Apprentice and Traineeship Company Carols Concert and festival, food trucks will not be in attendance this Sunday, but please visit the local cafes and restaurants that are open for a bite to eat before or after the floats pass by.

The Government of Western Australia has released the SafeWA app this week and the QR codes for this event will be laminated and displayed prominently throughout the assembly area and along the parade route to assist with contact tracing.
Please continue to practice physical distancing wherever possible and spread out along the parade route.

Please note that road closures will be in place this Sunday from 3 pm for the RAC WA Street Parade. Victoria Street from Clifton Street down to Prinsep Street will be closed from 3 pm, with all other roads along the parade route being closed from 5 pm.

The Apprentice and Traineeship Company Christmas Carols Concert

SUNDAY DECEMBER 13 2020 AT 12 PM – 6 PM
The Apprentice and Traineeship Company Carols Concert kicks off from 7 pm at the Graham Bricknell with a selection of some of the best bands, choirs and musicians from Bunbury-Geographe. Co-ordinated by Always Goodnights, people are encouraged to sit back and enjoy the Christmas songs and carols as the sunsets.​​
