It’s here and it’s alive! Fremantle International Street Arts Festival returns to the streets of Fremantle this Easter long weekend, kicking off on Good Friday, March 30 until Monday April 2.
Over the Easter long weekend, the streets of Fremantle become an open-air stage for the world’s best street theatre, busking and more. Come and join in the fun street party vibe and watch the major street stages; chill under the Norfolk pines, picnic with mates and watch the entertainment unfold; have a craft pint at our first fully licenced pitch in the Little Creatures Buskers Bar; or come out after dark to see great bands, spectacularly illuminated birdmen and crazy roving characters.

About the Fremantle International Street Arts Festival
started as a celebration of Fremantle’s local busking culture in 1999 and has grown into a showcase of the world’s best street theatre.
Each year over the Easter long weekend, the streets of Fremantle are transformed into an open-air theatre of the amazing, weird and wacky, while Fremantle’s famous alfresco dining steps up a notch, with pop-up bars and eateries extending into the streets.
Entertainment centres around several major pitches or performance locations and roving performers pop up in surprising and interesting places all across the City.
